It was just a short walk off the trail, which was a huge relief after a long day of walking. the staff here were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made sure I had everything I needed and were always happy to chat and provide information about the area. Lastly, the food at this place was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious meals they served, especially considering it was a simple albergue. They really put effort into providing a tasty and filling meal.

The lack of electrical sockets near the beds. It was a bit inconvenient having to charge my devices all the way by the door.

We started the Camino in Leon and stayed at Albergue Santa Ana for one night. The private room we had was clean and comfortable, with twin beds and a basic private bathroom. The albergue is tucked away from the main road, providing a peaceful atmosphere with wandering chickens on the property. The Wi-Fi in the restaurant worked well and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. One particular highlight was the delicious vegetarian meal that our host prepared, showing their effort to cater to our dietary needs. it was a perfect place to rest and enjoy a special evening on the Camino de Santiago.
